When choosing a venue for your next school ball, request information and arrange an appointment to view the venue and discuss with the venues coordinator the plans for your ball. Most venues will charge hire fee's for each room that you require for your ball. Generally the venue will provide their own catering services and provide you with options from buffet dinners to cocktail events. Some venues are also known to provide full package deals that include everything from venue hire, food and security and sometimes a DJ or band. Important questions you need to ask: What is provided in the package and is there a minimum number of students required for the package? Can we hang decorations and use pins on the walls? Are there any noise restrictions or restrictions for the use of a smoke machine? We are planning to have our ball on a week day - can we have an upgrade or discount?
